Day 1 in New York, complete. It was a lovely one filled with charming streets,  fire escape ladders, people walking to and fro, and my absolute fave, food. We did A LOT of walking. That's what people do here and I love that. It reminded me of the summer I spent in Europe when we walked so much our feet throbbed in the middle of the night, they were constantly swollen. But, that just means we're having fun, so no complaining here.

In my pretty Storets striped dress (always in style), we explored Times Square (where we're staying), The Meatpacking District, Chelsea and West Village. For brunch, we ate at The Butcher's Daughter in West Village. It was a more intimate space with amazing food and the prettiest view for people watching on the sidewalk. It's definitely a place I'd recommend you visit. For dinner, we went to Toro. The food was great and is served tapas style. The atmosphere, however, is what made the space most enjoyable to me as I have a love for interior design and it was one I had pinned a long time ago. Oh, and we went to Chelsea Market, where we came across one of my more strange but greatest loves, halva, at a place called Seed + Mill. If you ever go, make sure to try the coffee flavored one.

Today, I've got a full day of work but I'm sure we'll do much more exploring thereafter.

Until next time, xx.
