My New Living Room With Apt2b
I think we can all agree that any stylish living room's star of the show is a good sofa. I was lucky enough to get two thanks to Apt2B. The Harper Sofa and Harper Apartment size Sofa are meant to be both admired and enjoyed. They're equal parts stylish, comfy and affordable. I'm a diehard fan of neutrals, because neutrals are not only timeless, but they go with anything. That's why I went with the ivory and coal options. Neutral not your thing? They're available in a wide-range of colors and the Harper style sofas are the perfect complement to many decors.
Right now, I am very much into rattan and anything basket weave, it's so on trend and easy to style. It kind of gives any space, this little bit of natural, outdoorsy vibe. I love bringing the outdoors in with both textures and plants, especially while living in an urban environment. Plants are a must in any space of mine, they reduce stress and create a feeling of well being while improving air quality.
My last apartment had much more wall art, but this time I felt that because of the exposed concrete walls (which by the way have always been a dream of mine to have), it was better to keep things minimal and undone. Hence why I leaned my art against the wall on the floor, which by the way is a great way to hide those ugly outlets (my wifi router is also hiding back there ;).
For months I have been pinning Scandinavian decor on my Pinterest board, so I wanted to bring a little bit of that into my new home. I placed very simple vases, jars and natural elements like a wooden bowl on my shelf to achieve that little bit of Scandinavian appeal.
To make the area appear and feel a little bit bigger, I used a big leaning mirror. It instantly adds depth to the room while keeping the empty wall space interesting.
A big thank you to Apt2B for making my new living room space both sophisticated and relaxing. You guys are the best!
Next up, the bedroom area! But, you'll have to stay tuned for that one.
