Yes. AND lots of beautiful plants! Great lighting.

Over the weekend we went to FIG Restaurant at the Fairmont Miramar for brunch. I know what you're thinking... OH MY INSTA HEAVEN! It's true, FIG is definitely the place to go for the most darling Instagram pictures. #aestheticsonpoint But, it's not only the trendy hanging greens, the cute tile flooring, marble tables and overall beautiful ambiance that earned this place its great reviews, FIG serves some of the yummiest eats in all of Santa Monica. Not to mention their warm, friendly service. Oscar, our server was phenomenal. :)

FIG's seasonal, Mediterranean-influenced menu features wood-fired dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients. It's farm-to-table goodness! I told my friend this weekend how for me, fresh, colorful vegetables are so important. The more colors, the better! And as you can see, this place brought on the brightest and freshest.

If you're in the Santa Monica area looking for a cute date spot, brunch with the girls or a little escape from the norm, go to FIG, you won't regret it. And if you can, ask to sit outside, it's magic.

My favorite dish? The Baked Egg Shakshouka and Mediterranean Cobb, both had amazing flavors!

Would I recommend this place to my fellow vegans? Yes, it's vegan-friendly. Small changes were easily made to some dishes.

Would I recommend it to my not so vegan friends? Absolutely!

PS: They sent us home with some chocolate chip cookies, umm maybe get some on your way out too because they're FANTASTIC with a little vanilla ice cream. The perfect crunchy to gooey ratio, just saying...
