NY Day 2 & 3: Ripped Denim & Juice
This ripped midi denim skirt just does something to me, it tugs at my heart. I love denim skirts but it's always hard to find the right one because I have hips and bum (which don't get me wrong, I love). They always ride up and tend to be rather uncomfortable. But, alas, I have found my match, and she's beautiful. Here I went with a button up short-sleeve shirt. I'm not the tallest so I like to add a bit of length by keeping the top mostly unbuttoned, that little peek of skin creates an elongating illusion. Also, how cute is this Coach bag? I can't help but wear it over and over.
Back when I lived in London, I often made a morning trip before work to Joe & the Juice. I was kind of obsessed with the place because the overall ambiance is so good. Oh, and their juices are my favorite, I am not joking when I say that. Their combinations and flavors are thebomb.com. I was so excited NY had one. My favorites are the easy shake, heartbeet, avocado sandwich and ginger latte. Pssst... they told me they'll be opening a San Fran location... a little closer I guess.
We had some amazing food while in NY and The Cinnamon Snail was one of them. It made the list as one of my top faves from the trip because it was fast-ish, down to earth, darn good vegan food. I really wish I could've eaten here more than once. I had the Thanksgiving Sandoo with procini mushroom seitan, parsnip sage pudding, cranberry relish, kale and roasted garlic aioli. It was so comforting and delicious I had to list out the ingredients. I also had an amazing raspberry cheesecake donut. Two words: go there.
Although a short trip, we did lots. Until next time NY.
