My L'Oreal Haircare Journey

Hello lovelies!

I’m so excited to share my haircare journey featuring L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oils with you.  

With life constantly on the move as of late, I’ve been hit with all sorts of different climates and stresses which have definitely taken a toll on my hair. Add this to sitting in a plane hours at a time and even swimming in the Blue Lagoon (where some people  end up not being able to brush their hair for a week after) - it’s safe to say my hair has seen all sorts of changes

Tah-dah! In came in L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oils. My favorite of the line is the Extraordinary Penetrating Oil - it contains 6 precious oils to transform and nourish dry hair and is great to use on dry ends and perfect for throwing in my purse when I am on-the-go. It’s definitely become an essential -  especially since I spend so much time between LA and Calgary which both have very dry climates. I also love the mask - it contains flecks of gold to create a luxurious experience and leaves my hair shiny and gorgeous!

I don’t wash my hair everyday (usually every 4-6 days), so I have to say that I was afraid that the oils might result in my hair needing to be washed more often. But, because the formula is so light, my washing routine wasn’t really affected, which is great and fitted in seamlessly with my routine.

My 4-step hair routine:

Step 1: Shower using  L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner for intense nutrition & shine.
Step 2: If I am in  need of a more intensive treatment for dry hair, I use the L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Mask. I apply it to wet hair after shampooing along the lengths making sure to focus on the tips. I typically use it every other wash.
Step 3: I apply L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Nectar for concentrated care after shampooing and conditioning and/or applying your mask treatment. I apply it to wet hair along the lengths - again focusing on the tips to eliminate any dryness.
Step 4: Finally - I use the L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Penetrating oil before styling to tame my hair while also  adding a finishing touch of softness and shine.  I also then apply it on my ends as often as I feel I need to  throughout the day!
