A Weekend At OPUS Hotel

LA PENTOLA

Classic Italian - local and seasonal ingredients

You know those trips where you're kind of bummed you gotta leave? I mean if it weren't for work, I probably would've extended my trip to Vancouver at least a few more days, It was too much fun and I got to spend my time there with the loveliest friends.

While there, we stayed at OPUS, a beautiful boutique hotel in Yaletown. Not only is its location perfection— walking distance to some of the best restaurants and shops (including their own, Silver Winning restaurant, La Pentola) but it's also right by Yaletown-Roundhouse station, so you can get almost anywhere.

We stayed in the Mike room, one of five fictional muses created by interior designer Robert Bailey. Each room at OPUS reflects the subtle avant-garde taste of their muses which include a rockstar, a doctor, an actress and a food critic.

I need to add, the bed was SO comfortable, it kind of made it hard to get up and leave our room. And the shower was so luxurious I never wanted to get out. Oh, and they leave candy like Pop Rocks on your bed while you're gone for the day, too fun.

Another great thing about OPUS is they don't have any hidden fees like resort fees and Wifi Internet, it's waived, as it should be. They've also added fun complimentary services like in-room iPads, complimentary luxury car services from OPUS to any downtown area and complimentary full suspension mountain bikes.

OPUS, the boutique hotel with a little more flavor and friendly service is a must when in Vancouver.
